Volinga, the first professional Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) suite for virtual production, VFX, TV and entertainment, announces its collaboration with Shutterstock, Inc., the leading global creative platform offering high-quality content and full-service creative workflow solutions for transformative brands, digital media and marketing companies. The announcement took place during the 50th edition of SIGGRAPH, the annual International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques.
In this collaboration agreement both companies will explore licensing and distribution of NVOL files, as well as the creation of an NVOL library of high-quality content for Volinga users. In this way, the first network of creators to produce on-demand NVOL environments.
In this regard, Shutterstock will make available to Volinga its existing network of more than two million artists and creators from around the world who contribute to the platform’s library with 2D, 3D, video and audio content. For its part, Volinga will add its knowledge in NeRF technology that, through a professional suite, allows the creation of photorealistic 3D models quickly and inexpensively.
Fernando Rivas-Manzaneque, co-founder of Volinga, said: ” This library of production-ready NVOL assets will allow our users to start experimenting and using NeRF in their volumes straight away, lowering the entry barrier for this technology. Furthermore, the network of creators to produce on-demand NVOL environments we are envisioning with Shutterstock will definitely take virtual production to the next level.”
This collaboration will reinforce Volinga in its mission to unleash the full potential of NeRF and make this innovative technology accessible to all professionals in virtual production, VFX, TV and entertainment.
