Chester (United Kingdom), 27 October 2022
ARQUIMEA, through its Agrotech division, attended the 32nd European Congress of AI VETS, a congress that brings together experts from the swine and bovine sector specialised in animal reproduction.
The 32nd edition of AI Vets was held on 25 and 26 October in Chester (United Kingdom), organised by EFFAB, with the purpose of promoting a meeting and exchange forum for those involved in animal insemination.
During the inaugural plenary session of the event, Pablo Fernández, Veterinary Product Development Manager at ARQUIMEA, discussed the opportunities offered by automation and artificial intelligence to improve the semen analysis process, as well as the differential advantages for farms and production facilities.
In the exhibition area he presented his swine and bovine semen analysis systems: ISAS PRO and SQS2. In addition, during the demonstration session, he conducted a live demo with one of his latest semen analysis software programmes that assesses semen motility, morphology and concentration: ISAS PRO Boar
ISAS PRO Boar is a robotised semen analysis system that uses artificial intelligence to ‘learn’ with each new analysis and improve the accuracy of the results over time. It automatically analyses boar semen quality, simultaneously assessing motility, morphology and concentration. In addition, the robotic nature of the equipment eliminates human error and increases the objectivity of the results.
The company also used the event to present its entire portfolio of swine breeding products: from sperm promoters, diluents or reusable counting chambers to pheromone vaporisers that replace the presence of the boar.
ARQUIMEA positions itself as a benchmark company in the development of solutions and products based on proprietary technologies for the optimisation of the key stages of animal reproduction.
