Coinciding with the celebration of Opormex 2023, the International Pork Producers Congress that took place last week in Riviera Nayarit (Mexico), ARQUIMEA has presented to the Mexican boar sector its latest technology for seminal analysis: ISAS PRO, a robotized CASA system with artificial intelligence.
ARQUIMEA, which was accompanied by the Mexican company Servicios Pecuarios de Occidente, took advantage of the event to present other solutions focused on improving the conservation and quality of semen.
The Spanish technology company presented its fully robotized system, based on CASA technology, which automatically analyzes semen quality in just 10 seconds, simultaneously evaluating motility, concentration, and morpho-anomalies. Unlike conventional analysis equipment, there is no need for an operator to operate the microscope by focusing and moving from one field to another, as ISAS PRO can do this autonomously. This minimizes human error, thus increasing the objectivity of the results.
In addition, its intuitive and user-friendly software interface features an artificial intelligence learning system, which improves the degree of accuracy with each new analysis.
During Opormex, ARQUIMEA also presented its range of products focused on the increase of semen quality, the conservation of doses, the insemination process, and laboratory materials for the boar sector.
From its range of porcine semen extenders (Acromax and Eobos), which maintain the vitality of the membrane and the integrity of the acrosome, guaranteeing the fertilizing capacity of the sperm for a longer period of time, to nutritional supplements (SPZ Algae), made from microalgae to facilitate their digestibility, which increases the sperm concentration or reusable counting chambers (Spermtrack).
ARQUIMEA, through the application of technologies such as robotics or artificial intelligence, is positioned in the Mexican market as a reference company in the development of solutions and products created with its own technologies that contribute to improving the efficiency of the boar animal reproduction process.
