Barcelona, 14tth March 2023
ARQUIMEA has participated in INFARMA 2023, the European Meeting of Pharmacy that integrates the European Congress of Pharmacy Office and the Exhibition of Medicines and Parapharmacy. This year it was held at the Gran Vía venue of Fira Barcelona on March 14th, 15th, and 16th, under the slogan ‘The answer to health challenges’.
ARQUIMEA, from its health area, has given voice to its work focused on disease prevention and improvement of quality of life, with its flagship products: its Well_iD line of preventive genetic tests and its SILUETE Healthy Balm anti-snacking balm.
Siluete, the lip balm that helps to avoid snacking, repeats its presence at Infarma for the second consecutive year. This innovative balm helps avoid snacking through sensory stimuli – taste, smell, touch – that impact decision-making.
It is formulated from 100% natural ingredients scientifically selected. The ingredients responsible for its anti-snacking capacity are menthol and eucalyptus essential oil, which provide freshness, and Sichuan pepper, capsicum frutencens, and spilantes acmella add a stinging and tingling sensation to the lips.
ARQUIMEA, which had recently reached a collaboration agreement with the pharmaceutical laboratory Areafar for the exclusive distribution of this novel balm, took advantage of the event to present Siluete in its space and at Areafar‘s stand.
As a novelty, ARQUIMEA presented to the pharmaceutical sector its line of genetic tests Well_iD: The Wellness ID Test. Well_iD is an innovative tool that, using genetic analysis, detects predispositions to health alterations to prolong the time until their manifestation or even prevent their appearance. From possible premature aging of the skin or our body characteristics to improve sports performance, to potential nutritional and digestive problems.
If we know our genetic characteristics, we will be able to act objectively on what our body needs most. Pharmaceutical professionals will be able to have a better knowledge of each patient and identify fully customized products and routines.
For ARQUIMEA it has been a real pleasure to have been part of the largest meeting of the pharmaceutical industry in Spain, which this year has brought together more than 30,000 professionals, 430 companies and laboratories, and 280 exhibitors in its more than 32,000m2.
