ARQUIMEA presents its capabilities in intelligent loitering systems for defense at IDEX 2025

February 17, 2025
  • Arquimea presents a new multi-launcher for loitering systems on board a light vehicle and a UGV, to increase attack capacity and operational versatility.
  • It shows SkyBlock, a system to inhibit communications and disable attacks by enemy drones.
  • The company develops generative Artificial Intelligence algorithms, which allow its loitering systems to operate effectively in complex environments and have the capacity to carry out missions in swarm configuration.

Abu Dhabi, February 17. ARQUIMEA, a technology company that operates globally in highly technical sectors with more than 20 years of experience, is showing its complete proposal for loitering systems at IDEX 2025, with which to improve the capabilities and security of the Armed Forces.

News at the exhibition

ARQUIMEA is presenting at the exhibition its multi-launcher solution for loitering systems on board a lightweight vehicle and an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), which exponentially increase the attack capacity, operational versatility and range of loitering systems. The multi-launcher allows for carrying out several missions simultaneously, while reducing the risks for troops by maximizing efficiency. It is a very versatile solution because it can be easily onboard air, sea and land platforms, increasing the capabilities of the armies to carry out missions with swarms of drones.

To fight against with attacks by enemy drones, ARQUIMEA is presenting SkyBlock at the show, a new system that inhibits communication signals, which completes the global proposal for loitering systems. SkyBlock is a single-person anti-drone system (C-RPAS) with a range of 2 km that guarantees the neutralization of seven communication bands. It is designed to disable enemy drones without causing damage that could affect the investigations and forensic tests carried out after their capture.

ARQUIMEA is a leader in loitering systems in Europe and has extensive experience. The company is working on algorithms to improve the swarming capabilities of its loitering systems and with artificial intelligence applications for the detection and tracking of moving targets. In addition, they have a robust encrypted communications system that guarantees communications against jamming and spoofing attacks. The company is working on the development of loitering systems with greater range and autonomy.

Systems in service in armies around the world

At IDEX, ARQUIMEA is showing the Q-SLAM-40, a loitering system for short-range missions that is in service in several armed forces. The company has a specialized production plant with state-of-the-art machinery for large-scale manufacturing.

In addition to the above, ARQUIMEA is presenting its information systems for mortars and artillery: TECHFIRE and BC-LITE and its electronic aiming system for mortars: eCOMPASS, which are in service with armed forces around the world.

ARQUIMEA’s technological proposal can be seen at its stand 12-B23 within the Spanish pavilion at the fair.
